This 1 oz bar is .9999 fine gold from the Royal Canadian Mint. The front carries the Mint’s circular legend, its maple-leaf emblem, the weight and purity (1 oz, .9999, FINE GOLD, OR PUR) and a fine line pattern, with a plate for the bar’s own serial number; the back repeats the maple-leaf emblem across its face. The Mint also micro-engraves small maple-leaf security marks that are visible only under magnification. The bar is sealed in a black assay card that carries the assay certificate details and the Chief Assayer’s signature. The pictures show an unnumbered specimen; every bar has its own serial number.
