The 1 oz bar is 99.99% fine gold, produced by The Perth Mint in Western Australia and sealed in a charcoal tamper-evident assay card (card design may vary) that shows its bar number, gold content and fineness. The Perth Mint is wholly owned by the Government of Western Australia. The bar number shown in the pictures is a specimen for illustration; every bar has its own. What is in the assay: the back of the card lists the gold content, the fineness and the minimum gross weight, with a bar number and a Chief Assayer signature.
